Hon. Abdulmuminu Jibrin Exloded

This is E- News Afrika, we are for real. Join us to get the latest news.

Another bomb shell from Hon. Abdulmuminu Jibrin
It has once again become necessary for me to make some statements, clarifications&further revelations. read tweet 1-82 for more revelations.
1-As you are aware,my party the APC has intervened in the current crisis, following allegns of corruption embezzlement&gross abuse of office.
2-I leveled against Speaker Yakubu Dogara, three other principal officers and 9 other members, of which none had responded to any.
3-As I said earlier, it is only the 13 members of the House that are on trial not the House of Representative as an institution.Surprisingly
4-they have resorted to using every tactics to narrow the allegations to only issue of padding, which in itself is a grievous offense,
5-ignoring tens of other criminal allegations contained in my petition to the anti-corruption agencies. In doing so,
6-they mischievously expanded the scope of the culpability to give an impression that the entire House, Senate and even
7-the Executive arm of government and some individuals outside NASS are on trial.
8-This is a wicked attempt to drag many institutions &individuals into the matter to neutralize the issue, spread fear and sell the dummy
9-that the entire country will go down if this matter is dealt with decisively, the biggest blackmail on the entire country I have ever seen
10-Nigerians should know that the whole agenda of this blackmail is being coordinated by two serving Governors and three former members
11-I will give their names in due course. They have been running pillar to post and I keep wondering what really are they afraid of
12-The meeting with the party went very well and in all honesty they were very objective and showed understanding.
13-I told the party that I will be part of any peaceful resolution EXCEPT the criminal allegations I have raised against Dogara&12 others
14-On that,I told the party there is no going back and further informed them that more revelations will be made once investigation commences
15- I also informed the party that I will stand as witness against them and provide every support that will help investigation
16-and prosecution of these 13 extremely corrupt members. The party wrote and asked that Dogara and I should stop further public statements
17- I respected the party and stopped further statement but kept a close watch on what was going on. Of course I have my network everywhere
18-After three days of careful observation and receiving information from very patriotic Nigerians, I discovered a grand plan by
19-the group of two Governors and three former members designed to provide soft-landing for Dogara and 12 others, give them time
20-to clean up the mess on their desk, destroy whatever evidence in their possession and reach spread money across members to buy signature
21-try to scare and drag as many people as they can into this matter, invade the party and top government officials and influential people
22-that have the ears of the president and try to change the media and public narrative by embarking on very expensive media campaign
23-to discredit&attack my person with all manner of lies they can concoct.I have made it a duty to respond to all the allegations against me
24- The latest they brought up this weekend has already been taken care of in my soon-to-be-released memoir
25-But I have decided not to wait until my birthday September to release it.I will start releasing the memoir in piecemeal moment from now
26-so that answers to their cheap blackmail, including the junk and lies they peddle in the media, will be provided.
27-While I was determined to observe the ceasefire, Dogara and his group of few rogues didn't. I called Sen Lawali Shuaibu and complained
28-He promised to reach the Speaker. On Friday the Speaker spoke to the press after meeting the president on the matter,
29-and they launched a several massive attack on me in the media, while the party is keeping a sealed lip. can they blame me for talking
30-Iam completely convinced that the two Governors and three former members were already at work
31- I know them like the palms of my hands, and I know how they operate. But Almighty God is more than them
32-I was shocked and dumbfounded when I saw the Speaker on television saying padding is not an offense
33-not because of the disgraceful contradiction after clearly stating that I was "sacked" for padding but I could not believe
34-he could have the temerity to make such reckless, insensitive, arrogant and fraudulent statement right within the sanctity of the
35-Presidential Villa, a place that symbolizes zero tolerance for corruption. If you watched the Speaker on the screen talking,
36- you can clearly see that from his face, cap, Agbada, down to his shoes, it was a radiation of corruption, dirty money, monumental fraud
37-and abuse of office. It was irritating to see such character around the corridors of power
38-He didn't know that by that statement he has clearly confirmed my allegation that he and 3 others connived with some committee chairmen
39-to insert into the budget over 2,000 items worth 284billion naira. No wonder he refused to take action despite my complaint
40-Now that I have provided evidence that he&3 others masterminded the insertion of 40 billion into budget, another wasteful 20billion naira
41- and attempt to force me to insert another 30billion naira into the budget. So padding is no longer an offense???!
42-So the Speaker is saying the nine roads he inserted into the budget which he fraudulently sandwiched into 4 roads and inserted
43-billions into that without any design or costing is not an offense?Or the water project he hijacked from the budget and took to his farm
44-is not an offense? Or moving ten solar boreholes to a place that probably requires just two is not an offense?
45-This has really proved that Speaker Dogara is the son, father, grand father and great grand father of padding! Nigerians are watching!!!
To be continued.

Justice Lateef Lawal Akapo of a Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja today convicted 19-year old secondary school leaver, Tobechukwu Igbokwe and sentenced him to 37 years imprisonment for defrauding an American, thr sum of $40million in an inheritance scam.

Tobechukwu was arraigned before the court on a 12- count charge bordering on forgery, conspiracy and obtaining money by false pretences.

Justice Akapo found him guilty on all 12-counts and sentenced him accordingly. He was sentenced to 7 years on counts 1-8; 8years on count 9; 7years on count 10, 8years on count 11 and 7 years on count 12, making a cumulative of 37years imprisonment.

The sentence is to run concurrently with effect from October 28, 2013.

The court also ordered Tobechukwu to return the $40million as a restitution to the victim and forfeit a Toyota Corolla car, which is a proceed of the crime, to the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Tobechukwu was arraigned on Monday, October 28, 2013 and pleaded not guilty to the 12-count charges pressed against him. He later changed his plea to “guilty” and was convicted by Justice Akapo accordingly.

Before the conviction, the prosecuting counsel, Kayode Oni tendered various exhibits before the court which were all admitted and marked as such. However, defence counsel, D. A. Omougbai prayed the court to temper justice with mercy, since Igbokwe has shown enough remorse for the offences he committed. Tobechukwu Igbokwe (Alias David Prince) and his accomplice, Ifeanyi Obi were alleged to have duped an American: M. Silva, the sum of $40million in an inheritance scam.

Silva was made to believe that Igbokwe and his accomplice had a huge inheritance which they wanted to move to a foreign account for safe-keeping. The victim was asked to send money to “process” the transfer and in the process, he wired $40m in several installments through Western Union to Igbokwe. Igbokwe also confessed that he had duped other foreigners. Some of them are: T. Bedwell, $6,000 and R. Hunt $15,000.

FG to provide 3 million jobs in the next 3 years - Osinbajo

This is E- News Afrika, we are for real. Join us to get the latest news.

In a Facebook message posted on his wall this evening, VP Yemi Osinbajo said the Federal Government will provide 3 million jobs in the next three years starting from this year. He said the jobs will be provided in the Technology, Wholesale & Retail, Construction and Agro-allied sectors of the Nigerian economy. He also stated that this year alone, over 700,000 private sector jobs will be created, majority of which will be in the Agro-allied sector. Read what he wrote after the cut..

President Muhammadu Buhari and I are accountable to the Nigerian people.
The central focus of President Buhari's administration is the creation of jobs. Every proposed policy begins with "how many jobs can this policy create?"
Today, I received the Strategic Framework and Implementation Plan on job creation and youth employment in Nigeria jointly packaged by the Job creation Unit of the Presidency, and the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, NESG.
Three million jobs would be created in the country within three years starting in 2016 especially in Technology, Wholesale & Retail, Construction and Agro-allied sectors of the Nigerian economy.
This year alone, over 700,000 private sector jobs will be created, majority of which will be in the Agro-allied sector.
This private sector-led job creation plan is different from the direct government jobs planned by the Buhari presidency which includes the 500,000 teaching jobs for unemployed graduates.
We are not unaware that this process of job creation is slow but President Muhammadu Buhari's administration is addressing the constraints of regulatory and institutional delays in the business sector.
The Job Creation Unit was constituted at the behest of President Buhari to initiate the job creation plan. The National Economic Summit Group, private sector players, validated the plan and will be working together with the government to implement the job creation plans.
Together, we will get this right.
Together, Nigeria will prevail.
